Media Literacy
This unit we will examine how the media portrays a story. We want to be mindful of fake news but it's important to know that there is plenty of reliable new media out there as well. As part of this unit will be examining the current tensions in Eastern Asia focusing on North Korea, a place notorious for their made up propaganda that is labeled as real news. However, before we read different news stories to evaluate it's important to learn the basics of the North Korea history, which will be completed through the online webquest.
