Unit 5: The Road To Revolution
During this unit students will learn about causes for the American Revolutionary War. It's important for students to understand that not everyone was in favor of the war, one-third for, one-third against, and one-third were in-different. We will exam all of the issues leading up to war and more in the next unit. It's also valuable to know that there are two sides to every story and sometimes history is bias. During this unit we will be playing an online interactive game that will put students in the middle of the revolution.
Essential Questions/Learning Targets:.
1) Please tell me what things that lead up to the Revolutionary War and explain how it does?
2) What is the difference between a patriot and loyalist?
3) Who was at fault for the Boston Massacre and why?
4) What does parliament do to punish the colonist after the Boston Tea Party?
5) How can history be bias based on the documents/images we have read in class?

Students will receive a google document shared with them from Mrs. Zimmerman about their writing assignments. I have the rubric for the newspaper article down below because I will be grading that.
