Unit 8: Knowing Your Rights

This unit is all about knowing your rights.  Students will be examining the Bill of Rights and debating whether issues are Constitutional.  We will be working to summarize and put our Founding Father's words into current day language.  Will be also learning about the responsibilities and duties of American citizens.   Students will be spending a lot of time working in groups this unit so they will also be evaluated on their group work.

I'm extremely excited to be teaching this next unit because I will be incorporating a lot of new information from the Gilder Lehrman course I took this summer.
